FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1938.
The powers under the Food and Drugs Act, 1938, are
under the control of the Council, and during the year 240
samples were taken (60 formal and 180 informal) and submitted
to the Analyst for examination.
Two formal and 1 informal samples were reported as
being not genuine.
The following Table shows the number and description of
the samples taken : —
