Registration of Hawkers of Food.
During the year applications were received for the registration
of 10 persons and 4 premises.
Registration of Vendors of Shell-fish.
During the year applications for registration were received
from two vendors in respect of their premises.
Contagious Diseases of Animals Acts and Orders.
Attention has been given to the various orders issued during
the year; and no case of contagious disease has occurred within the
Borough.
Inspections were carried out at the railway sidings where
horses are derailed for slaughter at neighbouring slaughterhouses;
and the conditions found were satisfactory. Water and food are
available for the animals, and protection from the weather is adequate.
