Clinic, Lady Raleigh Training Home.
The attendance rate at the post-natal clinic held at Lady
Raleigh Training Home continued to be relatively satisfactory
throughout 1951. Out of a total of 251 invitations, 167 new
cases attended for first examination, an attendance rate of 66.5%.
Most patients showed appreciation of the treatment received, and
understanding of the importance of post-natal examination and
treatment has certainly increased. Nearly all conditions requiring
treatment were treated in the clinic, and it was necessary to refer
patients to hospital only very rarely.
Cervical Erosion presents the main problem in treatment.
