request from the Borough Education Officer for the clinic
accommodation to be made available for Youth Centre purposes,
and that Walthamstow Borough Council would be prepared to
treat Leyton patients on the basis of 7s. 6d. per attendance.
At that Meeting I was authorised to enquire as to the
possibility of utilising accommodation in other municipal
buildings for the treatment of scabies cases, and to enter into
arrangements with the Walthamstow Corporation on the terms
suggested in the event of no suitable alternative accommodation
being found.
As I have not been able to find in other municipal buildings
any suitable premises which could be made available for the
treatment of scabies, I have made arrangements with Walthamstow
Corporation for the treatment of Leyton patients at the
Walthamstow special clinic on the basis of 7s. 6d. per attendance.
The new arrangement came into operation on 1st
November, 1950.
