INFANT WELFARE.
Notification of Births.—Thirteen hundred and three
notifications of births were received during the year.
By medical practitioners 295

During the year under review, the total attendances at the
Council's Infant Welfare. Centres were 11,053, a decrease of 3,811
compared with the figure (14,864) for the previous year. The
number of children examined by the Clinic Medical Officers was
3,758 as compared with 4,186 examined during the previous year.
Health Visitors.

During the year the Health Visitors have made 16,880 visits to homes, as follows:—

(a) To expectant mothers:—
