The following table supplies, in summary statistical form, information regarding applications for admission and their disposal during the first year since the opening of the Nurseries:—

Since the Nurseries were opened (i.e. during the first year),
some 152 children, who were accepted for admission and were
actually in attendance, have been withdrawn.
