PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER
INFECTIOUS AND OTHER DISEASES.
SMALLPOX.
During the year no case of smallpox occurred in the area.
ENTERIC FEVER.
Four cases of enteric fever were notified during the year.
Three were suffering from typhoid fever, and one from paratyphoid
fever.
CEREBRO-SPINAL MENINGITIS.
Of the 13 cases notified during the year, two died.
MEASLES.
None of the 466 cases of measles notified had a fatal ending.
WHOOPING COUGH.
Four deaths occurred among the 336 notified cases of whooping
cough.
