Special Eye Clinic.
During the year the Council's Ophthalmic Surgeon (J. D. Magor
Cardell, M.B., F.R.C.S.) had referred to him by the Clinic Medical
Officers 26 pre-school children, who made 59 attendances for
examination and treatment.
Artificial Sunlight Treatment.
Number of cases treated 37
Total number of attendances 756
Convalescent Home Treatment.
Children.
During the year 2 children, recommended by the Clinic Medical
Officers, were sent to Convalescent Homes by the Maternity and
Child Welfare Authority through the agency of the Invalid
Children's Aid Association.
Nursing Mothers.
Arrangements were made for one mother and twin babies to
have a period of convalescence following confinement.
