The unsaveable permanent teeth, which numbered 307 in the
mouths of 171 secondary school children who attended for extraction
of teeth, were distributed as follows :—
88 children had 1 unsaveable permanent tooth each.
49 children had 2 unsaveable permanent teeth each.
20 children had 3 unsaveable permanent teeth each.
11 children had 4 unsaveable permanent teeth each.
1 child had 5 unsaveable permanent teeth.
2 children had 6 unsaveable permanent teeth each.
The saveable permanent teeth which numbered 1,210 in the
mouths of 447 secondary school children who attended for conservative
treatment were distributed as follows:—
102 children had 1 saveable permanent tooth each.
133 children had 2 saveable permanent teeth each.
103 children had 3 saveable permanent teeth each.
61 children had 4 saveable permanent teeth each.
24 children had 5 saveable permanent teeth each.
12 children had 6 saveable permanent teeth each.
5 children had 7 saveable permanent teeth each.
3 children had 8 saveable permanent teeth each.
2 children had 9 saveable permanent teeth each.
2 children had 10 saveable permanent teeth each.
