Fees paid to Doctors under Section 14 (1) of the Midwives'
Acts, 1918.
One hundred and eight accounts were received from general
medical practitioners for assistance rendered to midwives under the
provisions of this section. The total amount paid to medical
practitioners during the year was £153 12s. 0d.
NUTRITION.
Assisted Milk Supply.
As it is a condition of grant that the mothers or infants must
attend the Authority's Centres—unless when unable to attend,
in which case the home is visited by a Health Visitor—all mothers
and infants in receipt of milk free or at reduced price are under
medical supervision.
