At the expiration of the sanctioned period of six months the
sanction of the Ministry has been renewed for further periods.
During the year seven patients were supplied with Insulin at
a cost to the Council of £29 3s. 9d.
Bacteriological Diagnosis.—The arrangements made by the
County Council of Essex with the Counties' Public Health Laboratories,
91, Queen Victoria Street, E.C. 4, for the examination of
specimens sent by any Authority throughout the County, is being
continued.
The following specimens were sent:—
