During the year steps were taken, in conjunction with the local
Tuberculosis Officer and the Tuberculosis Consultant, Essex County
Council, to review as many as possible of the persons notified to be
suffering from Tuberculosis in the area. As a result it was found
possible to remove from the tuberculosis register the names of
eight children and 30 adults in whom evidence of active disease had
ceased to exist.

The following is a statement of particulars appearing in the Register of Notifications of Cases of Tuberculosis for the year ended 31st December, 1935:—
