Closing Orders were determined, the dwellinghouses

House-to-house inspections totalled 1317. These inspections
were carried out in the following roads:—

DRAINAGE.
The drainage of 214 houses has been reconstructed. In some
cases the drains formed portions of combined systems, and in such
instances, on default of the owners, the work has been done by
the Council's workmen and the expenses incurred have been
recovered from the owners.
