The death-rate for 1925 was 10.16 per 1,000 of the population.
The rate for England and Wales was 12.2 and for London 11.7.

ZYMOTIC DEATH-RATE.
The deaths which occurred during the year from the seven
principal zymotic diseases were as follows : Measles, 6; Diphtheria,
14; Whooping Cough, 24; Diarrhoea and Enteritis, 15; Enteric
Fever, 1.
The zymotic death-rate for 1925 was .44 per 1,000 of the
population.
INFANTILE DEATH-RATE.
The infantile mortality rate, i.e., the number of deaths of
children under one year of age per 1,000 births was 54.51, there
being 114 deaths, 109 of legitimate and 5 of illegitimate infants.
