The meals are served under the supervision of women assistants
specially employed for this purpose, who are also
responsible for the cleanliness of the dining' room and the washing
of the dishes, etc. The diet sheets are submitted to and
approved by the school medical officer.
Children are provided with free meals on the recommendation
of the assistant school medical officers or the head teachers.
The number of children for whom meals have been provided as
compared with previous years is as follows —
