SLAUGHTER-HOUSES.
There are 14 licensed slaughter-houses in the district, of
which 10 are annual licences. The slaughter-houses generally are
kept in a good condition and the bye-laws well observed.

DAIRIES, COWSHEDS, AND MILKSHOPS.
716 visits have been made to dairies, cowsheds, and milkshops,
of which there are 39 dairies, 5 cowsheds, and 97 milkshops
on the register, and the requirements under the Dairies, Cowsheds,
and Milkshops Orders have been complied with without
any statutory proceedings being necessary.
