DAIRIES, COWSHEDS, AND MILKSHOPS.
The number of milkshops, &c., on the register for the year
ending December 31st, 1911, is 169. Several new milkshops were
opened during the year and registered under the order.
In a number of instances the businesses were discontinued,
the premises being no longer used as milkshops.
It is now the custom in the case of general shops and premises
which are unsuitable for the storage and sale of milk to refuse
registration.
