Of the 203 deaths from Zymotic Diseases 151 (over 77%) were due to the three non-notifiable Diseases :
Measles, Whooping Cough, and Diarrhoea.
The Zymotic Death-rate for England and Wales for 1897 is 2.15 per thousand.
