The policy is—as you are aware—of long term value—but useful
information is being assembled through our monthly analyses.
General Supervision.
Not the least important feature of our work is the district inspections
carried out by the Sanitary Inspectors. This might be
described as preventive hygiene and certainly it both permits timely
action to avoid trouble and knowledgeable action to deal with any
trouble which has arisen.
My thanks are due to you for your support throughout the year,
to my colleagues in other Council Departments for their co-opcration
and to my own staff for their wholehearted assistance.
