RAINFALL DURING THE YEAR.
I am indebted to Mr. D. E. Hart, the Surveyor, for the subjoined information on rainfall as recorded at the two recording stations which were used during the year.

During the years 1937 and 1936, the total amount of rainfall at
the Eastern Outfall Works was 26.18 inches and 22.68 inches, and
rain fell on 150 days and 160 days respectively.
