Careful observation has been made as to the occurrence of
secondary cases of Scarlet Fever or Diphtheria, and it was found that
after the cessation of routine fumigation there was no increase in
the number of secondary cases.
The following table shows the number of secondary cases
which occurred after the removal of the primary case to hospital:—
