When an unsatisfactory report is received the retailer is
cautioned and investigations are made with a view to obtaining
better results.
Milk and Dairies (Consolidation) Act, 1915.
The County Medical Officer has supplied the following information
about samples of milk which he has had taken for examination
during the year :—
Milk in Schools Scheme.
12 samples were submitted to the Methylene Blue Test of
which 9 were satisfactory and 3 unsatisfactory. In addition three
samples were examined by the biological test of which two were
satisfactory.
Milk samples taken at Accredited Farms or in connection with
applications for "Accredited Milk" licences.
31 samples were submitted to the Methylene Blue Test of
which 26 were satisfactory and 5 unsatisfactory. In addition 12
biological tests were carried out of which 12 were satisfactory.
