Each of the 4 Sanitary Inspectors has included in his duties
inspections under the Shops Acts both with regard to the sanitary
provisions of the Act of 1934 and the shops hours regulated by these
Acts.
668 shops were inspected during the year and where there was
any minor infringement the attention of the proprietor was called
to it.
No legal proceedings were taken during the year.
At the end of the year there were 855 shops on the register.
