Deaths Referred to the Coroner.
Ruring the year the deaths of 27 male and 17 female persons
which occurred in the District were investigated by the Coroner,
34 of them being residents, 8 belonging to other districts and 2
being unknown. In 24 cases an inquest was held. In 12 cases the
Coroner certified the cause of death after autopsy and in 8 other
cases after inquiry only.
