Legal Proceedings
It was necessary to institute legal proceedings under the Food and Drugs Act, 1955, in the following cases:-

ACTION TAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH FOOD STORES AND FOOD SHOPS
89 notices were served on occupiers of shops and stores drawing attention to infringements
of the Food and Drugs Act, 1955, and Food Hygiene Regulations, 1955.
At the end of the year 60 notices had been complied with.
