Regarding the samples noted as unsatisfactory, I add the following comments
Milk. These three unsatisfactory samples were all of hot milk, procured at
cafes, which contained added water. In two cases proceedings were instituted, the
fines and costs in one instance being £2.2.0d. and £1.15.0d. respectively, and in
the other case £2.0.0d. and £l.l.0d, In the third case the follow-up sample was
genuine and therefore no further action was taken.
