Last year a residential Home was opened in Childs Hill by the Hendon Old
People's Housing Society, which accommodates 42 old people, 90% of whom are Hendonians.
It is a great pleasure to see how happy and contented the old folk are in this Home.
We note with satisfaction that further one-room flatlets are being built by the
Hendon Borough Council in Station Road, N.W.4, for the old people.
CHRISTMAS DINNERS.
112 Christmas dinners were taken to House-bound old people, and we are indebted
to the W.V.S. in assisting us to distribute these.
