It will be seen from the above figures that 3,068 men and 2,044 women, giving a
total of 5,112 persons, were x-rayed during the visit to the Colindale area
On the second occasion, from 7th to 9th December, 1954, the Unit carried out a
survey of selected groups when the number of vacancies available to the general
public was limited
A report on this survey is as follows:-

MIDDLESEX COUNTY COUNCIL ACT, 1944.
SECTIONS 353-363.
The Council continued to exercise its functions as the licensing authority
under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act. A person requiring a licence or
renewal of a licence under this part of the Act must make application to the Local
Authority giving certain information, such as age, nationality, technical qualifications
and the nature of the establishment and the business conducted thereat,
