public health, and which is reflected in the present comprehensive
service.
1 wish also to thank the members of my staff for their
loyal co-operation and devotion to duty, particularly those who
have been associated with me for many years in the development
of these services. The majority will be transferred to
the new Health Authority, but they will continue to be
employed in their existing capacities and thus their enthusiasm
and experience will not be lost to the service.
