Average Stay In Hospital of Cases notified as Diphtheria was 63.5, an increase
of 4 days as compared with the average of 59.5 days for all diphtheria
cases from 1930 to 1933 inclusive.
Type of Disease.—
The type of disease during the year has been of moderate severity, but
in the latter months a number of particularly severe cases were admitted.
