There is no Public Slaughter House in the District.
At 4 of the Slaughter Houses no slaughtering has been performed
throughout the year.
121 recorded visits have been paid to the Slaughter Houses on the days
fixed for the slaughter of animals or upon the receipt of notice from the
occupiers on other occasions.
Most of the meat supplies are obtained by the local butchers from the
London Meat Markets, so that only a small number of animals is slaughtered
at the private slaughter houses.

The following table shows the number of animals slaughtered and examined.
