OPHTHALMIA NEONATORUM.
Seven cases of this disease were notified as compared with
6 cases last year. The School Nurse attended and gave
assistance in several of these cases.
ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
The Isolation Hospital is a temporary building, and was
erected in 1899, but many enlargements and additions have
been made from time to time.
A full description of the building and the accommodation
it affords will be found in my annual report of last and
previous years.
The following shews the number of patients which have been treated in the Hospital each year since it was first opened:—

The diseases treated were:— 1942 Scarlet Fever; 132
Diphtheria, 10 Small Pox, and 8 Typhoid Fever.
During the year 86 cases of Scarlet Fever were removed
into the Infectious Hospital, and 32 cases of Diphtheria,
