59 Cases notified.

Fifty-nine cases of this disease have been notified during
the year, compared with 37 cases last year, shewing an increase
in the incidence of this disease.

Of these 59 cases, 38 were removed from dwellings for
isolation and treatment.
Six cases proved fatal, producing a death-rate of 13, and
a case rate of 1.3.
From 1 to 5 years of age 5 cases occurred.
