SENILE MORTALITY.
Of the 462 deaths of residents in Hendon, 92 were
persons over 70 years of age.
The proportion of deaths occurring amongst those over
70 years of age to the total deaths was therefore 19.9 per
cent.

The following is a return of the number of persons dying over 70 years of age in the different localities:—
