Large numbers of pamphlets provided by the gas
electricity and solid fuel manufacturers have been distributed
in proposed smoke control areas
(j) Co-ordinating Committee.
Towards the end of the year the Council took the
initiative in suggesting the formation of a Committee to
co ordinate action on smoke control areas and to pool in
formation and experience on all aspects of clean air

Uxbridge B.C Ealing B.C. Heston and Isleworth B.C.
Yiewsl-ey & West Drayton u D C. and Staines u.D. C. were in
vited to send representatives to a meeting arranged to take
place early in 1959 to discuss the setting up of a Committee
