Slaughter-Houses.
The number of slaughter-houses subject to annual licences has
been reduced by two; in one instance the premises have been
demolished and in the other case the occupier failed to carry out
the required improvements in order to obtain his licence.

Inspections were made under the above in order to see that
the requirements with respect to labelling were complied with,
but no infringements were discovered.
Public Health (Preservatives, Etc., in Food) Regulations,
1925 and 1927.
In the foregoing table, the articles marked * were also examined
for the presence of preservatives.
