service was extended to female school teachers, initially in
schools in the southern half of the Borough With adult rubella
immunisation the degree of natural immunity is very high so that
only teachers who are shown to be without natural protection by
a preliminary blood test are given the vaccine, It is hoped to
extend this facility to all schools and all new teachers entering
the Borough during the next year.
