During the year as part of the Health Education Programme
of the Council, publicity was given, in the form of advertisements
in local papers, and by the distribution of leaflets from various
Clinics and other Council premises, to the need for all who had
taken risks to seek early advice. Details of the times of the
Sessions held at the Treatment Centre at Oldchurch Hospital
were given and this publicity may have played some part in the
increased number of patients who attended the Centre in 1969
as compared with the previous year.
