meat inspection according to the Regulations.
It was eventually agreed that the hours of slaughter should
be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and from 7 a.m. to
2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
The Minister raised no objection to this arrangement as all
the slaughterhouse occupiers had signed an agreement to abide
by these hours. The new hours come into operation on the
1st January, 1970.
