1985 deaths) would have resulted in an increase in population
of 2220, but the Registrar-General's mid year estimate of251,160
shows an increase of only 970 over the 1966 population of
250,190.
It follows therefore that the number of people moving away
from this Borough exceeded by 1250 the number of those who
came to live in Havering. This compares with a figure of 2187
in 1966.
