Rent Act, 1957—Certificates of Disrepair
The following is a copy of the return made under the Rent
Act, 1957, to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government for
the period 1st January, to 31st December, 1967:—

The above-mentioned orders necessitated the re-housing of
9 families totalling 26 persons.
SEWERAGE AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL
In last year's report, mention was made of the inadequacy
through overloading of Bretons Farm Sewage Works.
It is expected that during the summer of 1968 these works
will be closed and the whole of the sewage and trade effluent
from Havering—other than that draining to the Bury Farm Sewage
Works—will be treated at the Riverside Sewage Works of the
