B.C.G. Vaccination against Tuberculosis
B.C.G. vaccination was offered to all children over the age
of 13 years, subject to a preliminary tuberculin skin test which
detects those children who have already developed a resistance
to the disease.
The number of children skin tested and vaccinated under
this scheme during the year was as follows:—
