Court proceedings were instituted against the owners of one
of the slaughterhouses in respect of four contraventions of certain

and costs amounting to £5 5s. 0d. awarded to the Council.
The Council also took proceedings against a Director of this Company

Act, 1955, for obstructing a Public Health Inspector. He was fined
in all, £10 0s. 0d., for these offences. He was also fined £20 0s. 0d.
