Food Sampling
The Department continues to sample a wide range of foodstuffs for chemical and bacteriological examination.
From time to time the emphasis on articles to be sampled is shifted in the light of experience, and the advice
given by Mr. W.B. Chapman, the Council's Public Analyst and Dr. Betty Hobbs, Director of the Food Hygiene
Laboratory at the Central Public Health Laboratory.
