Staff Medical Assessments
There was a further increase in the total number of medical assessments during 1970. In that year 2,409 cases
were dealt with as compared with 2,095 in 1969. The increase was partly due to the Borough's Statutory
Resolution of 1969 to admit manual employees to the Superannuation Scheme subject to medical assessment.
