A great many more notices were served than in 1891.
It was, however, necessary to take legal proceedings in only
one case to enforce the abatement of a nuisance.
It will be noticed that a great many more houses have
been inspected and more notices issued than in previous
years. This is largely due to the result of house to house
visitations, which have been made in the following places:—
Eaton Cottages, Westbourne Street.
Spring Garden Place, Elizabeth Street.
Eliza Place, Elizabeth Street.
Hart's Buildings, Westbourne Street.
Whittaker Street.
Belgrave Cottages, "Whittaker Street.
Grosvenor Cottages, Whittaker Street.
Gregory Street.
