BIRTHS.
The number of births assigned to the
district was 344, giving a Birth-Rate of 13.4 per 1000
of the population. The correcting factor for age
and sex distribution so far as Friern Barnet is
concerned is 1.12. so that the rate for comparative
purposes was 15.0. The corresponding Birth-Rate for
England and Wales was 16.5.
