In addition eighteen persons who had previously
been notified as suffering from tuberculosis whilst
living in other areas, came to live in the district during
the year. The total number of cases added to the
register, therefore, was 33, five fewer than the previous
year.
The distribution of the new cases in the various
Wards was as follows:-

Arrangements have been made for the Mass Radiography
Unit 5B to visit the district in 1956, after a lapse of
approximately 3 years, apart from the work carried out
last year in X-raying school leavers.
