INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
FOOD HYGIENE. Inspections of the various premises wherein
food, is prepared, stored or sold were made during the year to
see that the provisions of the Food and Drugs Act relating to
food premises and the Byelaws relating to the handling of food
were being observed. These Byelaws came into operation
in the District on the 3rd. July 1950, and copies have been
supplied to all food establishments and to all traders distributing
food in the District. It was not necessary to recommend
