It will be seen from Table III. that (excluding the
Asylum) 56 Notification Certificates of Infections Diseases
were received, as compared with 50 in 1906,78 in 1907,
122 in 1903, and 114 in 1909. The decrease being due to
the fewer number of Diphtheria and Scarlet Fever cases.
Bacteriological Examinations.

The application of this process for diagnostic purpose continues to increase, and has been much appreciated.
